Guest Ratings & Reviews
Staying at this traditional Japanese hotel gave me my own little oasis, with a tatami bedroom, fresh flower arrangements, a private wooden onsen, and a living area that opened up to a peaceful Japanese garden. The shared toilets and bathrooms were a minor inconvenience, but the overall experience was wonderful with serene views, immaculate cleanliness, and all necessary amenities at hand.
Staying at this hotel was like having my own little traditional Japanese house, complete with tatami bed room, fresh flower arrangements, private wooden onsen, and a living area with sliding doors facing my private Japanese garden. The staff were beyond nice, almost like personal servants, offering dry cleaning, housekeeping, grocery shopping service, and laundry. The location, on the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood close to must-see temples, provided a peaceful and safe atmosphere for a taste of old Japan. The dining experience, featuring a giant Japanese breakfast and choices like western-style or vegetarian, was mind-blowing. However, the room I stayed in was the smallest one, and the hotel's distance from main attractions may be a bit inconvenient for some.
